How It Works:

• Tesla Vehicle Owners:

To begin, Tesla vehicle owners must create an account at teslender.com. Within this platform, they can generate a unique access code that is programmable to activate and expire at designated dates and times, allowing for the seamless sharing of their vehicle. This service offers several advantages compared to the official Tesla app: owners are not required to disclose their Tesla account password to renters, access can be automatically revoked after a predetermined period, and it is possible to provide access for only one vehicle when multiple are owned. Additionally, owners can impose restrictions on certain functionalities, such as disallowing adjustments to charging settings. The app also ensures the logging of charging events, vehicle speed, and location data.

• Individuals Renting or Borrowing a Tesla Vehicle:

This application enables users to access most functionalities available in the official Tesla app through an access code provided by the vehicle owner, along with additional features.

Current App Functions:

1. Receive notifications when the vehicle begins or completes charging and when charging nears completion (with 10 minutes remaining).
2. Activate climate control settings, adjust temperature, and monitor internal and external temperature readings.
3. Lock and unlock the vehicle remotely.
4. Engage horn and activate headlights.
5. Open both trunk and front trunk (frunk).
6. Vent and close the roof.
7. Set a battery charge limit.
8. Control media functions (for vehicles equipped with V9+ software).
9. Access real-time location data.
